I had another lesson today and it was much better. he was a lot braver and so was I, and I know it’ll take us both some time to get over it and get confident again but im glad to see improvement and im gonna try to stop being so down on myself.

so I have 3 rides i haven’t gotten around to telling you guys about which is so awesome to say because that means ive actually been riding consistentlyish. last weekend we trailered out to the arena again. I was feeling really sick but I stuck it out and was finee. I decided to lunge him first though bc I didnt know how much I was capable of dealing with without throwing up and im glad I did haha he was a little insane on the lunge. riding he was veryyyy fresh, but good. then we did a little course of three cavalettis and he only refused once! he kinda leaped over them but he was much braver:) then monday night we got to ride in the ring outside, it was so hot out. but of course the second I got on it started downpouring. we rode through it until the ring wasnt safe to ride in anymore which was about 20 mins and he was very fresh again. he started cantering right away, like wouldnt trot, and now I know better than to try and hold him back because that doesnt end well, and after a while he stopped himself and was fineee:) next lesson was today and im gonna post a video with it so I’ll tell ya later
